What is dgn FACTORY?
dgn FACTORY, previously known as The Dosa Factory, is a contemporary, fast casual, 100% vegetarian, authentic South Indian restaurant focusing primarily on Dosas, Idlis and Vadas. dgn FACTORY is an incredibly unique concept created of the most innovative, vegetarian South Indian cuisine. dgn FACTORY takes Fast Food to a whole new level.

What is a Dosa?
Dosa is a fermented crepe or pancake made from rice batter and black lentils served with special sambar (lentil soup) and unique dipping sauces (coconut chutney & garlic chutney). Dosa is rich in carbohydrates, contains no sugar or saturated fats. It is gluten-free and contains protein. The fermentation process increases the vitamin B and vitamin C content. Every menu item (exept Samosas and Gobi Manchurian) is Gluten Free. Any item you see (i.e. paneer, cheese, yogurt, milk, etc.) can be substituted for vegan.

What is the most popular Dosa?
The Masala Dosa is our most popular made with potatoes, green peas and onion filling.

What is Gluten Free?
A gluten-free diet is a diet that excludes foods containing gluten. Gluten is a protein complex found in wheat (including kamut and spelt, barley, rye and triticale).

What is Vegan?
Veganism is the practice of abstaining from consuming animal products as well as dairy products and other animal-derived substances.

What is the difference between Vegan and Vegetarian?
Vegans eliminate all animal products from their diet including dairy and eggs. Vegetarians do not eat meat, fish or poultry but they tend to consume dairy products and eggs. Vegetarians also do not eat products that contain gelatine or other meat-based products.
